Nossa Terra participated in the exhibition “Genuine Algarve” in the Portimão Arena between 30 March and 1 April 2012. The stand was shared with the Monchique cultural association Memo.
During the exhibition we promoted the natural heritage of the Monchique hills, received new members and collected signatures for the petition against the proposed feldspar quarries on Picota. The online petition already has 299 signatures and we received 55 signatures in paper, a total of 354.
